Date: 6/26/12 10:08 AM My 33 year old husband's nephew was in a serious motorcycle accident this past Saturday night. He was negotiating a curve and went left of center and smashed into the side of a pickup truck. He lost his leg from the knee down, not sure if he will lose part of his one hand, his ankle on his other leg is messed up too. He's having hip surgery today putting in pins. Thank God he was wearing a helmet so no brain damage. He recognized my husband and squeezed his hand and would hardly let go. They've got about 6 tubes down his throat. He was riding one of those "crotch rockets." My husband had a Harley but sold it back in 2001. I'm so glad he doesn't ride anymore! Say a prayer for Tristan. It's going to be a rough time for him. |

Date: 6/26/12 8:26 PM My son was in a motorcycle accident last year. He was driving a crotch rocket. He was making a curve and hit a truck on the side. It threw him about 10 feet in the air landing on his seat. He also was wearing his helmet. The problem was his fault. He move over into the other lane to turn the curve and didn't see the truck. Problem speed. I and my husband drive motorcycle and use coution when we drive. The speed limit for us.
I will pray for you hb nephew. for you and your family at this time. -- Edited on 6/26/12 8:28 PM -- ------ Galatians 5:22-23 The Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, and self-control. There is no law against such things as these |

Date: 6/27/12 8:05 AM The accident is under investigation. He hit on the passenger's side which we can't figure out how that could happen. We don't know if speed, alcohol or what was involved and he doesn't remember anything. How is your son now? |

Date: 6/27/12 8:22 AM This is such sad news and why I learned to avoid motorcycles. I'm keeping all the family in my thoughts and prayers. ------ "We don't impose our rhythm on Nature. The key is to respect and live within Her." Jean-Charles Boisset, Winemaker
