Retired or Employed Part-Time

Help settle a good-natured disagreement between my sister and me. I recently retired from my full-time job as a school-based speech-languge pathologist. Now, I'm doing part-time independent contracting as a speech-language pathologist. My sister and I discussed whether I should be considered "retired" or "employed part time". Technically, as an independent contractor, I'm not an employee. But I am still working. So, what do I check when I'm completing surveys? Employed part-time or retired. ------ I sew, therefore I am. But I've been an independent contractor, part time, and I considered myself as Employed Part-Time. I have a friend who retired-retired (as in she's 65) and now works as an independent contractor for a medical office.
