I have a mingled sense of accomplishment, satisfaction and slight tiredness at getting through the last bits of the requirements before the assessment deadline.
I no longer feel like a novice, but have some way to go before I can have the confidence to casually alter patterns and know that it will work.
This course has helped me to push myself in to trying techniques I wouldn't have touched with a barge pole. After trying hand smocking, I dont think I will be going back there again any time soon. Still, the point is I've tried it.
So, for all those out there trying new things, or curious to see someone's sample book, here's a link to my blog page with some photos
I've got to take a few more photos, but this will do for tonight. |

Date: 7/5/12 9:23 PM I think it's wonderful that you've had the opportunity to take that course. I've been enviously lurking as you've done it, reading your blog. |
