Wondering if there are any good fabric stores down there or if anyone wants to meet up for a couple of hours with dinner or something like that after a bit of fabric shopping.

Big 4 Pattern size 12, RTW bottom: 6, RTW jacket 8, RTW top (no size fits me well!)
Measurements: 34 HB/36 FB (34C bra)/27.5/36 (and working hard to keep it that way.)
Machines: Sewing (Janome Memory Craft 3000 and Kenmore 158 Series machine), Serger (Babylock Imagine), Embroidery (Janome 300E)

If you think your sewing is better than everyone else's around here, get out of my way b****. I hate sewing snobs.

Kathleen, I do not know if there are any fabric stores in that area. I have heard there is a Hobby Lobby in Chambersburg and there used to be a guy in Shippensburg who sold some fabric in the back of his small factory. The day I was there 5 or 6 years ago they were making women's underpants.Let me know when you are coming. I am closer to Harrisburg. Mary

Thank you, Mary! I'll be in the Shippensburg/Chambersburg area the first weekend of August. And on my way back, I'll definitely be stopping at Rakestraw's in Mechanicsburg. I don't usually eat ice cream, but I'll make a once-a-year exception for their exceptional, unique flavors. Last year it was Corn ice cream, this year maybe they'll have Bacon!
