Hello I just inherited a singer stylist 776 from my grandmother after she passed away and even though she started teaching me when I was younger I have no idea how to work it. It is already threaded and is in good working condition. If I could get some advice on how to use and work it I would be very grateful.
Thank you for any help you give.

Hi Hannah. So sorry for the loss of your grandmother. You might get more help posting this question in the Sewing machine section but hopefully some other people will see this. Do you have any sewing experience at all besides what you did with your grandmother? Do you have the manual for this machine? I am not familiar with this machine but if this came to you already threaded that would probably mean the thread is very old. The needle is probably old too and needs replaced. I am sure it needs some oil if it has been sitting a long time. So the first thing to do is get a manual and see what you can learn about it. I couldn't find a free manual. There were several sites that have manuals for sale.
I did find another question asked on here a few years ago about this machine. Here is the link
It looked like it might be helpful.

You can get the manual for the machine for free from the Singer website.
It looks alot more similar to the Touch and Sew 775 that I got from my grandmother instead of the Stylist 416. Except it doesn't accept cams.
