Scrapbookers have been talking about "smash" books. It's a free form type of scrapbook where they put anything and everything they want to keep.

Often a Moleskin notebook is used (but you can use anything you'd like). I thought it would be fun to start one to put little sketches of outfits i see that I like, fabric swatches, patterns I want to try, etc.

Here's the commercial video that got me thinking about how cool this would be for sewing:

Kinda like an inspiration board, only in a book!

I think it was GLButterfly (I might be wrong) that pointed me out to Fashionary. It works the same way, but you have A LOT of information at your fingertips specifically for sewing and fashion design.

Thanks for reminding me I needed to do a review on it, too!

Nope, it wasn't me, but thanks for the mention. LOL

My guess would be Maggie, cause that's who came to mind when I read your post.

Whoever it was, I need to thank them. It's been a pretty awesome tool.

Smash books - kind of like Pinterest, but "old school". Everything old is new againI'm not familiar with fashionary, but it sounds good. I'll have to check it out.
