Date: 7/9/12 5:22 PM I agree....WOW.
I wonder what the "true bernina enthusiasts" here will think of this?? It makes me want to go and check one out!!
This new machine is a BIG departure from the older line isn't it??

Date: 7/9/12 5:43 PM Interesting. Looks like a model to show what the insides are like. ------ ~Diana~

Date: 7/9/12 6:08 PM A see through sewing machine. What will they think of next???
It has to be a demo model to show the insides. But, it is way cool anyway. ------ Quilting is relaxing to me. I love to play with fabrics, patterns and colors.

Date: 7/9/12 6:21 PM Thanks for clearing that up. I didn't see that on FB and I'm not involved in the other Bernina thread. ------ strikesmyfancy-2013.blogspot.com

Date: 7/9/12 7:14 PM Oh, look, there are circuit boards inside...
Phooey-- I'd like to see the springs, gears, motors, pulleys, and cams. It's a sewing machine, not a sewing computer...
And a nice closeup of the motor's specifications. |

Date: 7/9/12 7:34 PM My bernina manual actually calls mine (430) a sewing computer...
This reminds me of the see through phone I had in middle school. It had neon lights that came on when it rang. |

Quite a bit of metal in there and an huge amount of electronics- what a work of art. I'd like them to pull apart their inexpensive machines and compare...ROTFL!
I would LOVE to have one of these transparent machines to show students in class, in the meantime I will make do with a photo. Truly they are computers that sew. ------ Quilting up a storm
