V-neck for cotton scrubs Tutorial

Can someone please help direct me to a tutorial if you know of one. Tnx in advance

What I'm hoping to find is how to overlap a contrast banding in the v of a v-neck style scrub. I see the neckline in manufactured scrubs but need to find out how to make the neckline for scrubs I'm going to be making.

It has you cut two bands for the front neckline. One end of the bands, when folded along the length of the band, forms a 45-ish degree angle. One band is placed on top of the other, and the band is stitched to the V-neck of the scrubs front. I highly recommend the KS pattern. Hope this helps. I found nearly identical directions in my mother's old Stretch and Sew book from the 70's. It makes the most professional mitered finish I've ever found.

My machines are in the shop right now for servicing. It's been years since I've sewn and I'm really looking forward to spending time with my dear friend "Bernina and Juki" again, I've missed them :-) Tnx for the time to reply here, see you again soon I'm sure.
