I stumbled across this site while looking for some mehndi designs today.They have a ton of really neat designs, and it ends in dot com, but I'm not sure I trust them. Has anyone ordered anything from them?

A .com domain is something everybody in the world can register, it's neither a certificate nor any approval... Don't know the site and if they are trustworthy, but their top-level domain is meaningless in this context.

I don't think having just your URL in end in dot com or not, has anything to do with it at all. As lots and lots of web sites have that and actually you could use a multitude of dot anythings. But they don't have any email address spelled out and listed, no physical location listed, and I don't see any telephone # listed either, and I kind of like to always see that kind of stuff, (as just some alternate ways of getting a hold of someone) in case there was a problem with my order, after they got my money. Or I never got my order.

Looks like the only way you could even try to contact them, would to be just only the the contact us, pop up dialog box on their website. So without knowing anything else, I probably would not spend a whole bunch of money there or even any just because of that. Even though some of thier embroidery designs look nice to me, and I don't remember seeing them anyplace else.

If I ordered one little inexpensive design, and then somehow when I got it, had some of that stuff made known to me, I would feel a lot better about it. If not, not really. I think if you want lots of orders, and people to have confidence in you at all, you should at least give them some of that other stuff, clearly listed also.

Notice it's been around since 2008, but from supposedly from Nobby Beach, Null, QLD 428, AU +4539646676, but their domain server is in Russia. I would not always hold that against anyone at all, but since they did not bother to list any of that stuff on their web page, and give you no contact info there at all, maybe just pass it by.

Urban threads was what got me looking for more mehndi!

I agree with what everyone said. They look legit, but you just can't be sure with no concrete way to get in touch if anything goes wrong. Looks like I'll be digitizing my own mehndi!

I tend not to order anything online from anywhere that doesn't give me a physical address on their website. Also stick to sites known to others besides me. And very very careful with foreign sites. But this particular embroidery site has been around for quite some time so it's probably ok. Also not a bad idea to get a credit card for just online shopping. That way if you have problem and have to shut down card, You'd have another to use if needed.

I checked this site with Norton. It is in the US and, according to Norton does not pose a threat.
