I'm working on a shirt for my little boy and I'm doing some pattern modifications. I'm making a band collar instead of the normal collar. Do I want to interface both pieces of the collar band? I know you usually do and then only one of the collar pieces, but not sure when you are just doing the band. My reference books are in the baby's room and he is napping.

Thanks!

Interesting because this just came up for me! The pattern instructions indicate that I SHOULD interface both sides of the stand collar. But that seems awfully stiff to me, so I'm just going to interface the side closest to my neck.

That's what I was thinking. But I'm using pretty light interfacing so maybe I'll do both sides. Forgot I hadn't threaded my serger. That's done now, but I might be running out of nap time for today..

yup. there he is. :)

On a men's collar only one side is interfaced. Patrick
