This pattern is EASY to distinguish because it has one of the first Black supermodels (Beverly Johnson) modeling the dress on the pattern cover.
It is such a simple dress: A-Line, Banded bodice (about 8" wide band, so ends just above the bust) and straps that cross in the back.
Easy to make, flattering to EVERY figure, looks great in many different fabrics.
I left it in Europe when I moved away from a sad love affair! Left all my patterns and I've regretted that ever since!
Thanks if anyone remembers this...

Since it is from the 1970s, you may have some luck browsing on the vintage pattern wiki. If you could remember the company it would help you tremendously in your search. Good luck!

Thanks - I will look. I have been looking online for at least two years - not to mention like, forever in yard sales and Goodwills!
It is a SIMPLICITY.
Thanks, epiphanytoo

I can't PM, but if someone sees this and can PM the original poster about the pattern on ebay, that would be awesome!

I had this dress!!! Green with flower print. I wore it forever. I don't have the pattern though, I lost all my things in 1981.
