The weather. so no wonder we all are inside enjoying some wine tonight. I think being half under the influence is the THE best time to tackle any project using plaids.. |

I get highly entertained by those that do, however, because they certainly are more laid back then I am.

Its okay. I imagine when some of us wake up in the morning to find our shirt sleeves sewn onto our pants leg somehow.. there may be some new teetotallers in town.. Really.. aren't patterns hard enough to follow without any special help..
Of course some of us need any kind of help we can get.. |

Of course some of us need any kind of help we can get.. ha! ain't that the truth!
I remember, and STONE COLD SOBER WAS I, when I tried to match up a nice pattern on a fabulous print for a shirt when I realized that for one sleeve I should have flipped the pattern over and I didn't.
I thought, "really? what the heck. It's the same, right? RIGHT????"
Nope.
So now I have a shirt with two.. uhm... is it left sleeves? or two right sleeves? I don't remember. But when I put it on I knew. JUST. KNEW. You need to make sure you cut the sleeve pattern correctly.

Edited to stop sounding like a teetotaler. -- Edited on 7/20/12 9:35 PM -- I know that after 2 glasses of wine right now, and working a cocktail with vodka as a base, I can't do the backpack.
That said, I have some coasters I can work on. Squares shouldn't be that difficult, right? RIGHT???????????????
