Date: 7/23/12 6:48 AM Hi! I have a pattern for a plain A-line skirt that uses the same pattern piece for the front and back. The front piece is cut on the fold, the back piece is cut with a seam allowance at the middle and is sewn in a seam. Is there any reason not to cut both pieces on the fold?
thanks for any help!! I have a nice piece of material from holidays 12 years ago, and I don't want to mess up! ------ Reading from Europe |

Date: 7/23/12 7:31 AM Thanks, the zipper went in the side though?
ETA an update. When I laid out the fabric, there was only enough for two pieces cut on the fold anyway! I will keep your advice in mind another time though! -- Edited on 7/23/12 1:56 PM -- ------ Reading from Europe |
