Date: 7/23/12 9:03 AM My DDIL wants me to make this top for her. It's made from t-shirts & don't think it would be hard to do. The only hesitation I have is about the neckline. How would you stabilize it?

Date: 7/23/12 9:35 AM I would attach a band to the shirt and then sew the ruffle on top. ------ The essence of life is statistical improbability on a colossal scale.

Date: 7/23/12 9:37 AM It's a VERY cute top for a young woman, however, somehow the sleeve seems wrong. ------ Linda

Date: 7/23/12 10:00 PM I'd get some Steam-A-Seam, in 1/2", steam it on there, and then when I had the ruffle done, I'd peel off the tape and very carefully use the tip of my iron to press it the rest of the way down. Then sew. |

Date: 7/24/12 1:12 AM Why won't you finish the neckline with binding and then sew on a decorative detail? ------ www.thesewingspace.com |
