I have highlites, which get pricey--anyone used the new Root Rescues? Brands with accurate color?
Blending a honey-color with some grey looks better than allover color, but several rounds of foils have parched the ends, which I am trying to grow out to a bob. I also see bottles with combs on where you use regular boxes of color for a comb-thru top color?
Using Clairol in the past, boxed color does rejuvenate my flat hair and moisturize for several months--however, getting that perfect "go just 2 shades lighter" medium brown still makes it too dark for the first month.

Plantists:
I like indoor plants but just have several Pothos, after losing other big ones in a move. They are hard to kill and grow fast so you can start another from the shoots. I add cut flowers or silk ones into them for the winter. Others to try that are bugless, hardy, low maintenance, and don't need praying over?

Just read L'Oreal Root Rescue reviews, most say it did not cover the grays. I just want to cover some of the the top (part always shows new gray) as it's usually down or back in a barrette when it's hot. Looking to spark up new lite gray spots and then down to old blondish hilites.

So glad he's on the mend! Mine and his brother both shaved off their mostly gray mustaches after years and were told they looked younger.
They gave up on the Grecian formulas as gray sideburns rose toward the tops!

I use L'Oreal Excellence all of the time, but found the Root Rescue did not cover the grey well. The Clairol Nice 'n Easy Root touch up does a much better job, but not in 10 minutes. I leave it on for 25 minutes.

Are the colors pretty accurate?
How often have you re-done it?

I have to color frequently, my hair grows fast. I have it colored at the salon every time I go for a haircut, which is 8 weeks. Two weeks after the coloring I do along my part and front hairline with the root touch up and two weeks after that I color at home with the Excellence. Two weeks later, the roots, and two more weeks, back to the salon. The color that I use it s pretty good match - medium golden brown.
