Date: 7/23/12 10:07 PM I wonder if it was crocheted with heavy thread or tatting yarn. I'd think that anyone with a design sense could do this... I doubt there is a pattern unless someone took a regular sized pattern and scaled it down. Someone with the agility to work the tiny stitches. Could it be machine made? I wonder. ------ Janome MC6600 Bernina 240 Juki MO735 Singer 201-2 Singer 221-1 Singer 15-91 |

Date: 7/24/12 1:08 AM My guess is that someone just worked small. There are knitting machines, but no crocheting machines. ------ I have not yet begun to procrastinate |

Date: 7/24/12 1:50 AM So CUTE!
I found a link to the pattern on Etsy after searching Ravelry for miniature crocheted sock monkey. There are several other cute designs as well by Mariella Vitale. All very tiny. I can't imagine the hook size--and it must be thread. -- Edited on 7/24/12 1:59 AM -- ------ Berninas 830LE ♥ Artista 630PQE ♥ 930 Record ♥ Juki TL2010Q ♥ Pfaffs Creative Performance ♥ Passport 2.0 ♥ Singers 221 ♥ 301 ♥ 500a ♥ Kenmore 1040 ♥ Elna 'Grasshopper' ♥ Tacsew T500 ♥ Babylock Evolution |
