Date: 7/26/12 4:59 PM I would think either would work. Fleece is pretty flexible. You could try it both ways and see what works better for you. And if you are using prints, you could get some interesting effects by trying both. |

Date: 7/26/12 7:20 PM Fleece is a knit, so there isn't a bias like there is with a woven fabric.
To get stretch and "give" in your trim strips, cut them across the grain, from selvedge to selvedge. In almost all cases, this is the direction that has the most stretch.
In my experience, the length-wise grain of knit fleece (parallel to the selvedge) usually has very little stretch or give.
