I just gotta show you this little beauty I snagged; I'm thinking the Style Arc Pleated Pia top!

How HAPPY are we that we sew, and thus need to buy FABRICS!!! All those sad non-sewing people out there who have never known the thrills...sad.
But back to lucky us...

Date: 7/26/12 10:44 PM That one caught my eye. And, did you notice that she snuck in a piece or two during the 'vacation' period?
I posted about ''The Kiss'' fabric on the You Know You're Too Much into Sewing thread.

Subject: Shes baaaack!!! And posting up a fabric storm! Date: 7/27/12 0:05 AM I've got an order on the way (usually a couple per month...that's how bad I am!) and I made the mistake of looking at the Italian knits today. I'm trying to be strong but, you know. |

Date: 7/27/12 0:28 AM I have been pinning fabrics like mad after ordering some of the fall Vogues. I need, really need, double knits or ponte for fall. I have a wonderful stash of jersey after attending Design Outside the Lines in June. Those are earmarked for a new batch of tees. Now I need to build up some beefy knits. Off to see what EOS has. ------ my blog: http://kf-biblioblog.blogspot.com/

Date: 7/27/12 10:21 AM I did notice that! What's worse; her posting on her vacation, or us, checking her site even tho we knew she was away on vacation?

Date: 7/27/12 10:24 AM OMG, you LOOKED??!
Well no wonder you have a couple orders a month, if you're going to go there and look!
Aren't those Italian knits to die for! Sigh. They've been selling out super fast, one batch sold out in minutes. It's always such a relief to get that email from Linda saying your order's filled, lol! ------ I heart Panzy, Pfaff Creative Performance, the sewing machine love of my life! Date: 7/27/12 10:34 AM Everyone finds their own comfort level of spending, and what fabric types they prefer. Some are simply not available for less than $10/yard.
For really good quality rayon/lycra print knits, $15-20/yard is the norm. Some can be double that. If that's the fabric you want, that's going to be the price, give or take a buck or two.
Happily with fabrics there's something for everyone. ------ I heart Panzy, Pfaff Creative Performance, the sewing machine love of my life! And Rupert (Pfaff 2023), Baby (BL Enlighten), Victor (BLCS), Ash (Bernina 350SE), Pal (Bernina 530), Kee (Bernina 750) and the Featherteen Flock!

Date: 7/27/12 10:36 AM Have you checked Marcy Tilton's site? She carries a really great selection on ponte and bottom weight knits. I love fall and winter sewing and am so excited to be starting on the fall/winter wardrobe!!!
Wish Jalie would hurry up and release new patterns so we can snag the fabrics to go with. ------ I heart Panzy, Pfaff Creative Performance, the sewing machine love of my life! Date: 7/27/12 11:23 AM Heather,
If you are like me, I will ONLY spend the money if I am fairly certain I can actually make what I want to my standards. I can't bear the thought of high priced wadders!
I still need a lot more confidence and practice before I will spend that much either. The sewing is not usually the problem - it's the fitting!
