Okay, I have an old JVC video camera w/SD although I've thought about picking up a Sony Bloggie as it has less buttons/seems less complicated.

I want to make some YouTube or Vimeo tutorials and demonstrations.

I need some tips and directions, particularly pertaining to filming sewing machines. What kind of zoom do I need etc.

Thanks!

Due to overwhelming response, lol, I ended up looking elsewhere and found this: How to make a YouTube video which is basically tips on making them, just what I was looking for. It was made by Corrine of Threadbangers fame. I understand that the PR site is not configured to allow uploaded videos so it figures that there would not be a lot of advice on this subject here.

However, the site where I found this video does so if anyone makes some cool video tutorials or wants to see some and comment on them with other sewing peeps, that is a good place to go besides YouTube.

Well, I am totally clueless on the subject but glad that you found Corrine's instructions. She makes it sound so easy!

I look forward to your Youtube offerings.

LuceLu,

I haven't even started posting photos

The area dealers have started offering computer classes to compliment everything that goes on with the sewing process. Maybe there would be some interest in that on PR.

Thanks for marching forward as inspiration to laggards like me.
