Lots of Free patterns for skirts and
The Nancy Dress, free on Fabric.com,
will give you a basic printable A-line shape for
a knit. If you have enough fabric you
can extend it into the fold-up yoga-style
dress too. (only 3 seams!)

My favorite is Christine Jonson's #1219 A-Line Skirt. The pattern is for a mid-calf skirt, but I just chop it off. Fits great.

New look 6730 NL6730 one piece, cut twice on a fold, elastic casing, insert elastic, hem. voila, a skirt. I've lost count of how many times I've made this.
