I liked number one as in a tiered dress but I do NOT like the waist line or neckline. for number 2 I love the greco syle draping but not the extreme gathers ruight under the bust. thats why I wanted to find a similar pattern.

Be careful on pattern sizes though; there's been changes since those periods of time.
