Still nervous about using unwashed fabric, but this was jelly rolls and no way was I washing those first!

Remember the discussion about what will happen if you use some pre-washed and some unwashed fabric? Well I am about to find out! I had to use fabric from my stash that WAS pre-washed for the borders, we'll see how it comes out once it's dried.

Here are some pics of it done. I wrapped the fleece around to the front to bind it. My family LOVES the soft edge for cuddling purposes.

Looks fabulous! Still struck by how different it looks than anything I've seen. That's hard to achieve! Very vibrant and has that element of cleverness I most admire.

White for the binding is a very different choice. I like it. The stitching is superb.

I am sooo impressed by your quilting. Looks like you found a great method for doing that. Great work on those mitered borders too... and a fleece backing! Are you quilting with a sharp or a ballpoint to get through the fleece?
