Date: 8/1/12 4:30 PM Hi--I tried to order the Pattern Fitting with Confidence DVD by Nancy Zieman from my dealer but found out it was discontinued. I looked in the message board and found one question about the same thing from 2009--about any good fitting dvds. Does anyone know of any good videos since the last post in 2009? Thanks so much!

Date: 8/1/12 7:53 PM I don't imagine this was quite what you're looking for, but I ordered it used for $2 from Amazon.com (I have free shipping there) and it's got a great article on fitting yourself by yourself

Date: 8/2/12 0:39 AM Nancy's notions is showing the DVD available with the book as a package. I use Cynthia Guffey fitting series, but it is a little pricy. I also have Peggy Sagers DVDs. ------ "Let's make the most of this day"

1 member likes this. Date: 8/2/12 12:07 PM I can't recommend highly enough the DVD series by Threads. They feature specific areas (darts, bodice, etc.) and then they've done a 4-part series with Louise Cutting on how to adjust patterns for specific body issues. They are not cheap but they are timeless and well worth it IMO. |

If you have an " Insider " membership you can also watch them on their website. They are great. It is a series of four: arms, torso, waist/hips and bust. Here is the link for the box set.------ Ada

Date: 8/2/12 6:39 PM The Insider membership was only $12.50 (since I'm a print subscriber) and let me tell you, I've totally gotten my money's worth out of that!! I noticed that DVD 4 was up there actually before it was released in stores. I love that I can search for a specific problem, and find the actual video segment. |

Date: 8/2/12 7:03 PM Courtney, I whole heartly agree with you. The $12.50 I spent was well worth it just for the DVD's . I have been thinking about getting the Louise Cutting DVD's just so I can have them at home but it seems like a waist of money as long as I can view then on the Threads web site. Not sure why I think I should buy them?
I also have a number of Peggy Sagers DVD's on fitting and think they are worth the money. She has specials on the DVD's all the time.
