Date: 8/2/12 10:10 PM I took a small tuck out of the back of a top I'm sewing and noticed it made the back bottom curve up slightly.
Couldn't you just draw the curve on the hem and keep the pattern flat?
I'm guessing the answer is "no" (it's so obvious that if it was okay all the sources would show that way right?) but I'd love to know the reason behind the answer. ------ Mary

Date: 8/2/12 11:30 PM I just add back at the hem the same amount I've tucked out of the waist (except when I forget, which is annoying). Of course, I am not known for my scientific sewing... ------ http://theslapdashsewist.blogspot.com
