I am making a thank you gift for a friend. It's another lap size quilt. I may just SITD on this one and keep it simple. I'll decide once I am ready to quilt it.

Here it is in EQ7:

Here are the four rows sewn together. I changed some of them around from the diagram.

I have the sashing, border and binding fabric on it's way. It will be a sage woven micro plaid that is one of the fabrics in the quilt. I'm not sure what I'll use on the back. I think I'll visit that local shop to see what I can find since that will be the least inexpensive route compared to ordering online.

This looks super easy. What size are those rectangles?

Looks very soothing! Serenity is your specialty!

Sage micro plaid sound perfect, especially with florals.

So often the simple things are the most beautiful.

Soothing is exactly what came to my mind when I saw this!

Relaxing and comfy and cozy.

LOVE it!

I think so too. I was going to use other fabrics for the sashing and border but while playing around with the fabrics, this combination was it! :)

It is soothing. Very pretty. Can't wait to see the sashing, border, backing and binding choices.

This morning I finished the quilting. I think it turned out ok. Not fabulous by any means. Now to cut the binding and sew it on. Will post a picture when it is done.

I like it. It is soft, soothing, and simple to look at. Love the outer border and backing fabric. I think the hearts on the sashing are wonderful. Very charming to look at.
