My Babylock dealer is having a contest; bring in items sewn/serged/embellished with Babylock machines, with prizes for winners of various categories.

When I visited today, they asked me if I would bring a garment to enter, and I said but all I've been sewing recently are my little knit tops. Kinda boring for a sewing show/contest, I figured.

But apparently at least around here, sewing little knit tops isn't very common, and the dealer would like to show people that one can sew everyday wearable garments.

So this is what I think I'll enter...my Style Arc demi-drape. I don't know how my top will feel about it...but I'm sure nervous, lol!

Showing my sewing to you guys is one thing...but to a buncha strangers??!

Most of all, I heart Woo (HimmyCat). Until we meet again, my beautiful little boy. I love you.

it would be a little different sharing with 300 or 3000 in the shop versus over 300000 on PR.

Beautiful top and an excellent garment to inspire others.

I think it will be so well liked, it might "walk away" on it's own.... you don't know what will happen after dark, in the night, it might be woo'd by that 7 series Bernina.

Missing - 1 style arc demi drape top, could be with SS sewing machine and might now be embellished with embroidery tats. Please report back to detective Woo.

Thanks a lot, Lynn, now I want that pattern. And the Babylock. Everything you touch, I end up coveting. I have a serious case of sewing-envy!

Lyn, That's a great top, it would be a shame to not have it seen. You might inspire a whole lot of sewers!
