Just went up, and usually sell out fast.

Rather than torture myself with this temptation, I Tweeted it and posted here. Hope you don't mind.

Do with them? Personally, I collect them

Seriously, I don't sew nearly as much as I should (yet, that is.... I will conquer fear soon or be forced to wear rags out of doors, too... not buying clothing when I have such a fabric stash).

I have made a small bag, which barely made a dent in my *first* bundle. I imagine they are good for all the suggestions the seller gives in the description. For the record, here is a description from a "bundle" product page, as it will no doubt be gone soon:

Quote:
Are you bursting with creativity? Do you enjoy making purses, sachets, pillows, scarves, mittens, hats, doll clothing, color-blocked garments, unconventional quilts or wall hangings, or trimming your garments with a bit of flair? Then these bundles are for you! Sold by the pound, most pieces are 1/4 yard or more, there may be a little flaw here or there, and your cost per yard is WAY below my cost. What a bargain!! This bundle includes knits and wovens in the navy family. Not to be combined with other discount offers. NO RETURNS (not that anyone has ever wanted to return a bundle!!)

Also, being relatively small, I can possibly make small garments (shell, skirt) out of some pieces, though I may prefer in the end to piece two or more together. Mostly, I buy for inspiration.

And, for the record, I DID succumb this time after all. I got the pink one. So, sorry if I got someone all excited about it before grabbing it myself. I really did mean to sublimate(diffuse?defuse?deflect??) my desire.

Dog gone it, I mean really dog gone it. I kept trying to look and our Internet server had our whole little suburb down for most of the day. Looks like I missed it all.

Wish me luck for next time. I bought a mosaic fabric from EOS that I'm crazy about. It's a little over the top for me so I plan to relax the look a bit by just making a shell from the original fabric and then combining that original fabric with other pieces so that the mosaic becomes part of a bigger, more casual mosaic.

Thanks for the heads up, Liz. Maybe I'll be able to catch a bundle next time.

I have no idea what Apple thought I was saying so be a Peach and credit anything bizarre to auto correct.

Ouch! How frustrating!

Good luck for next time! (Also, if it helps, it wasn't the biggest or best bundle of bundles).
