Date: 8/11/12 1:36 PM Found this on the French Website Thread&Needles. Burda Classics is a special that they say will be out on September 28.
Burda Classics (not my picture)
Looks to me like it might be a rehash of old patterns, done in new fabrics. (I recognize the wrap dress). Might still be worth it for those who don't have the old magazines. -- Edited on 8/11/12 1:50 PM -- |

Date: 8/11/12 2:17 PM I received a notice yesterday from GLP notifying me of this issue in English. It is available for order for $10 and is due to come out in October. |

Date: 8/12/12 11:13 AM Oh, thank you for the heads up on this!
I really like the plaid skirt suit ensemble on the cover. And my fingers are crossed that there will be some patterns from the August 2009 issue, which I unfortunately missed the first time around. |

Date: 8/12/12 1:47 PM Thank you, alert PR member peaudane! I had decided to let my subscription to Burda lapse, but an annual issue of classics sounds right down my alley. ------ --Robyn

Date: 8/14/12 10:34 AM I called GCNews yesterday to "subscribe" (in quotes because it's only one issue), and they said they'd put my name on a list and get back to me in September when they had more information. (?) She sounded unsure about whether this would be just one issue or six. (?) Also, she said that it would cost $2 more if I needed it mailed -- maybe I could just buy it locally? Hmm, where? The one store in our area that carries Burda magazine only carries the regular monthly one.
Anyway, my name's on a list, so that's something.
Is the US distributor giving any clearer info. on this? ------ my shield and my very great reward (Gen. 15:1)

Date: 8/14/12 11:54 AM Well, not much info is out yet because even the group blog Burda Addicts has very little information on it in this post. ------ Fashion Maté, where I blog about what I (eventually) sew : http://fashionmate.blogspot.com

Subject: Burda Classics magazine in French Date: 8/14/12 12:14 PM Joan that's odd, I ordered it online and it was just $10 and it said 1 issue. The page said it included shipping.
Now there was a problem with them processing my card (which there always is because my bank sucks unless it's local or I tell them I plan on ordering something more then 20 miles away) and it's in DH's name, but other then that... |
