Ha. I knew who you were talking about as soon as I saw the title. She is a smooth one.

That black and white one looks downright affordable, no? Of course, I can no longer get too excited about sweater knits... I have all this yarn now, you see ;)

But I can commiserate. After all, she went ahead and put this leopard print silk on clearance right after I just received a big order. Hmph. I love understated animal prints.

Definitely don't need it, but I've been a little obsessed with it ever since it was really cheap at Fabric Mart during their huge sale. I was just about to order (or thought I was) when they suddenly sold out.

What cat?

Well I swear she is doing this on purpose.. I would take this very personally if I were you.. Demand she ship you the fabric asap..
Same old story Lynn. you never find anything to buy unless you are broke.. Never fails..
Even worse you have that brand new machine just begging to be used.. but you have already spent your kitty.. Maybe the cat will share her tuna with you.. Then you can put her on the sidewalk with an empty tuna can and a sign that says.. '' Will purr for fabric...''

I just want to point out that yarn, nor spinning fiber counts as sweater knit fabric! It can't because I have a house full of yarn and spinning fiber, but I still had to purchase some sweater knit fabric last week. I *needed* it!

The door hinge on my fabric cupboard did not break because there is too much fabric in it, that's not why I'm not looking at fabric.

The real explanation is that we have exquisite taste and Linda has exquisite taste. She is merely tapping into a wonderful and natural Harmonic Convergence.

I love sewing winter clothes, beautiful wools and corduroy, but unfortunately I now live where it's hotter than h....., and wool coats are useless, as is anything but summer weight wool, without lining. Those fabrics are beautiful and I am jealous.

OMGoodness. I am noticing you have a lot of SMAD related tendencies. you should probably stay away from LynnRowe.. She will always lead you down the wrong paths.. the ones to the fabric stores.. and the dealers.. and the vintage machines.. She doesn't even know the path to the grocery store. .
