Stayed up till 4 sewing last night.

I check my Android phone about 4-5 times a day for new CL deals - and I have one notification set for "Sewing Table" ...

Well, while I was having fun with my new baby (the Horizon), and learning the fine art of laminating cotton last night... and utterly enjoying that dual feed gizmo on the Janome... and I didn't check my phone before I took a "nap" ... lol...

I missed a Horn cabinet (with the rolling chest of drawers) that was listed for $150!

I texted the seller at 7:45 this morning (as soon as I saw it over my first cup o' joe) ... and he already had a buyer coming in a few minutes.

I told him that I'd be willing to go higher if it was not damaged in some way... and told him it was worth more like $500.

So the buyer came at 8. The seller sold it for $500 instead of $150.

Dang... I hate that I missed that one.

Well... I just figure it wasn't meant to be. Something even better will come along that will be what's meant for you.

But I still feel your pain...

Okay, I hate to admit this, but I will...

I'd be just a little bit glad - well maybe a lot glad - that at least the other buyer paid $500. You'd have felt much worse knowing that you had lost it to someone for $150!
