So why can't I get a serger?
Because the ultimate useless accessory is hogging the space...

So here I am, enjoying my sewing renaissance - got the new machine (Pfaff QE4), got the great new Horn cabinet which opens out into something roughly the size of the Starship Enterprise with the Pfaff rising and falling into the shuttle bay like a cinema Wurlitzer. Got fabric , patterns, and I'm having a lovely time.

But - I'm kind of remembering that just before I quit sewing 20 years ago, I was working up to buying and overlocker. Now the Pfaff makes a very nice job of jersey knits but I'm thinking an overlocker would be a good addition. And the Enterprise has an auxillary shuttle bay especially for an overlocker, so that's OK then...

However. It would seem that the secondary shuttle bay has been occupied by an alien life form. Hmmm.

He'll be wanting to go up and down on the lift next!

I did wonder why the Horn had that funny little cut out into the serger compartment - now I know...

How cute! Look at that face in picture two. Could you see yourself moving such a sweet creature from the compartment? Somehow, I do not think you could do it. Yet.

Find the cat a new spot to hide in (or a pile of fabric it loves) and buy the serger. Then you can make the cat his/her very own bed/home to hide in and both of you will be happy. Should be easy to do with a serger...

Quilting is relaxing to me. I love to play with fabrics, patterns and colors.

Didn't you know that spot was made just for him?! Get the serger. He'll find another spot to lay.

Makes me think that my 3 dachshunds need a kitty sibling.

Sooo cute. Aren't animals the best?

On my radar someday: Babylock Serger, and some machine for travel.

My dearest wish is to have Bernina come out with a machine that doesn't give me a reason to *not* buy it.

Hehe! No, Like LynnRowe I am unencumbered by the trappings of familial bliss... There's neither Mr FatMog nor FatMoglings to get in the way. Just (currently) two cats and a horse!

Oh, and the Pfaff, of course!

I was thinking something on the order of a vacuum cleaner.
