She calls it a "walk by" closet but I call it a great way to organize fabric, patterns, and sewing supplies while giving you a place to hang you WIP projects.

well, that is clever! Great way to recycle an old ladder that is not fit for much else. Might find just the thing at the Habitat for Humanity's thrift store, Restore, if there is one in your area

I discovered these 6-bar trouser hangers are very useful to organize fabrics that coordinate or are earmarked for a quilt.

I love these for holding heavy yardage or even a quilt which is their intended use.
