Date: 8/20/12 6:05 PM I HAD to find out how you did this, so I went to your blog. Creatvie. I would not have thought to attach the ironing board to the dresser and have it swing out when you need it.
Honestly, it looks like it is floating on air and I wondered HOW you did that! ------ Quilting is relaxing to me. I love to play with fabrics, patterns and colors.

My sewing space is also my bedroom, and I didn't know how I was going to deal with an ironing board. And then my roommate gave me a board that hangs on the back of a door. It's a tight fit, and the door has to be completely latched for the board to come down (my closet wall is opposite the door), but it works perfectly, and is super easy to fold down and up when I need it! A handy bookshelf beside the door is perfect for setting my iron on too. You can sort of see the set up here:
ETA: OKAY never mind. That picture was HUGE! You can see the photo here. -- Edited on 8/22/12 9:31 PM -- ------ sewingonpins.blogspot.com |
