Subject: Cap sleeve width measurement? Date: 8/21/12 2:22 PM When fitting for a standard sleeve, we are told to measure level at the bicep circumference, add ease, and mark that line as the bottom width of the sleeve cap. Where do you measure for a cap sleeve? What defines the sleeve size/width? -- Edited on 8/21/12 2:28 PM -- ------ Know, first, who you are; and then adorn yourself accordingly. ~Epictetus |

Date: 8/21/12 5:47 PM Wrap a strip of paper around your arm horizontally so the top edge is touching your armpit on the inside, then measure the distance between the top edge of the strip and the shoulder point on outside of your arm. This will give you a sleeve head height. -- Edited on 8/21/12 5:48 PM -- ------ www.thesewingspace.com |
