This looks good, I think I may sign up for it. I have only sewn one successful knit top, but have loads of knits in my stash. I think this will give me the jump

Date: 8/22/12 8:30 AM I just received the email also. I have been sewing with knits but it is my experience that there are always good techniques to learn in these classes. Thinking about this one. |

Date: 8/22/12 11:43 AM It looked kind of interesting, but one of the lessons mentioned clipping curves, and that sounded wierd to me. ------ My grandmother taught me to sew when I was 10, and I've been sewing ever since. |

Date: 8/22/12 11:50 AM Check out the knit sewalong right here. Lynn Rowe led it and you can look at the tops people made (including hers). All of the knit tops that were sewn looked better than RTW in department stores. They fit well and had professional finishes.
It's also free! ------ Mary

Date: 8/23/12 11:29 AM I read in the write-up that this class will be taught with sewing machines, not sergers. Just wanted to point that out. ------ Judy |

Date: 8/23/12 6:11 PM Ohhh thanks for the link to the 50% off - $19.99 is a much more reasonable price. I'm fairly comfortable sewing knits, but I do love watching other people sew. There's always so much to learn from videos that the teacher may not even realise they are displaying. ------ BrownPaperPattern.blogspot.com |

Date: 10/28/12 1:31 PM I just bought this class. What did you ladies think of it? I really liked all the photos participants posted of completed garments. (I also added the Craftsy app to my iPad!) Looking forward to learning! ------ Indecision may or may not be my problem. -Jimmy Buffet
