Some people here were looking recently for a classic slip pattern and were sad that Burda had discontinued the lingerie pattern they had a few years ago. Well, the other day I noticed (NAYY) that one of Burda's new envelope patterns is for a classic lingerie pattern -- looks just like a slip. It also includes a camisole and shorts. Hope this helps someone. I haven't tried this pattern, so I know nothing about it, but I do notice it includes many, many sizes -- 10-30 U.S. (36-56 Eur.).

Burda 7186

Hmm, I just noticed it's for stretch fabrics only (weird, for lingerie!), but I assume going up a size would make it possible to use regular fabric.

Other slip patterns (most of these have already been posted, but it would be nice to consolidate them in one place!):

Wovens:
V1300 The slip with this dress looks pretty classic/standard.
V1287 Different dress, similar slip. Since it's with the same designer I would guess it's pretty close if not the same. Not really interested in the dress and it has dubious reviews here so I don't have the pattern to compare. I haven't found anyone who made any comments on the slip however.
V1160 Pretty, empire-waist with a more flared skirt slip in this dress pattern. I think of the reviews I could find one person has made the slip and said that she didn't like the instructions.
M4979 Haven't made it, but the nightgown in here looks remarkably slip-like.
Burda 7627 Another slip pattern from Burda.
Kwik Sew 2325 Princess-line slip with lace and wide shoulders.
Kwik Sew 2589 Another standard-looking slip.
Kwik Sew 3351 The front looks a bit like OOP Vogue 7790 (which is somewhat easy to find on eBay and Etsy), although the back is different.
Kwik Sew 3726 The back is the same as above, but the front is different.

Knits:
Butterick 5432 The nightgown looks like it would make a nice slip, but then you could just elongate any tank top pattern for that.
Kwik Sew 3554 I just made the slip for this and thought the pattern was pretty good.

Tricot is stretchy, and it is constantly used for lingerie.

It's calling for stretch satin or silk. That makes more sense to me -- wouldn't a tricot slip ride up? Anyway, I want to make this but will have to go up a size (or more?) because I want my slip in more traditional slip fabric, i.e. non-stretchy.
