Well, I haven't ascertained whether or not Coach has stopped making BELTS. (they don't have any online).

I ordered THIS 3/4" LEATHER BELT from Amazon, and I gotta tell ya: For $10, it's pretty nice. I also like the sizing: I'm a small, but I've had small belts that were WAY TOO SMALL. This is a nice size range.

14 different colors!

Yuh, it doesn't have that super-quality Coach buckle, but I'm pretty gentle on my things. I'm definately going to order a few more.

Well, after you originally posted about the missing belts at the Coach website, I was catching up on my Women's Wear Daily issues and there was a lengthy article about the huge 2nd qtr. loss Coach had...bigger than expected. They were saying how they want to beef up their web sales. So, the missing belts might be temporary while they go through some changes. I bet they still have the belts in the stores.
In the meantime the belt you found is really cute...can't beat the price either.

Once upon a time Coach was a really great company. I wrote copy for them. The factory was on the west side of Manhattan.

I know they still make their classic leather bags, but when I look at those goofy cloth Coach bags I really wonder what went on over there. On the other hand, they must be selling those bags because I see the knock-offs all over the place. Or maybe they're wonderful bags and my discernment is shot (possible...)

I found one of their black bucket bags in a thrift store recently. $40 is A LOT for me to pay in a thrift store (I like $1 and $2...) but it was an authentic in nearly new shape and I grabbed it.
