Subject: Thread caught in Bobbin case Latch Date: 8/25/12 7:20 PM I have a Pfaff Hobby 301. If i sew too fast the top thread gets caught in the bobbin case latch. Can anyone help me with this problem?

Date: 8/27/12 2:21 PM I have this machine (although I haven't used it in awhile) however, I have never had this sort of issue with it. In fact the 301 is a great machine (I sewed A LOT of garments on it before upgrading to a different machine).
Having said all that, when was the last time your machine was serviced and got a good cleaning and the timing was checked? Perhaps that is all it needs - worth a try.
In my experience, sewing machines don't heal themselves and sometimes an annoying quirk like what you have listed will grow into a something worse. ------ Kemish |
