Sewing with cotton velvet what would be a good semi-fitted Jacket

You want all pieces in one direction with a nap fabric. If your fabric is 60" wide you might be able to make that jacket. The with nap chart calls for about two yards for most sizes in 60" width. If it is 45" wide you could consider adding a contrasting color for some pieces. -- Edited on 8/30/12 4:40 PM --
