Date: 9/1/12 1:37 PM Geead! That wool/rayon gabardine is so fine!!! Not only was it drapey, but {drum roll please} it's washable Yes, you heard right! FM listed it as Dry Clean only, but did I listen? Oh no! I can't stand dry cleaning, so I tossed it in the washer; cold wash, delicate cycle, delicate dry. Oh my oh my! Shrinkage was just 1" or so in length on 2 yards of fabric!!! If you've bought this fabric and want to wash it, I'd suggest you stitch the cross grain shut on both ends; otherwise it will come out of the dryer wonky. Ask me how I know... But I have enough to play with, once I get the wonky one restretched. ------ "We don't impose our rhythm on Nature. The key is to respect and live within Her." Jean-Charles Boisset, Winemaker
