My granddaughter is here right now (my house is close to her school - so she comes here more often than not after school) ... She just turned 7, for those of you that don't know. So not being the one who doesn't know what you're talkin' about.. I cruise over to Target.com for kicks and grins. That little $299 number has more stitches than her New Lotus.. but it's missing the thread cutter. So I asked my GD to come take a look at what I had on the screen and she said "OH MY GOSH.... that's cute! But I like my Lotus, too!" So then I asked her which one she would rather have.. this one... or the Lotus. ... lol.... This was funny... the first thing she asked me back before giving me her answer was: "Does this one have the button so I don't have to use a pedal?" LOL... OMG... the little stinker already has features she has down as deal-breakers! So then I asked her if I bought her the Hello Kitty if I could have her machine! lol She said "Yes.. if you let me take the Hello Kitty one home." So do you think the granddaughter will pop a gasket if she figures out she doesn't get a thread cutter? lol Elna Lotus - 18 stitches - HK 50.
