Date: 9/1/12 9:45 PM I love spending time with DH but I also love all the extra sewing I get to do while he's engrossed in the games.

Date: 9/1/12 9:51 PM I love the game...but can listen from afar except for a few teams.....then the game has my full attention. What I was doing today, listening & sewing a unfinished project I discovered when I was organizing the sewing area. Yes, yeah for fall! ------ There is no easy way! quote from my Grandfather

All Day.
Seriously, they leave by 8:30 in the morning and don't get home til after 5 for a noon game. Woohoo! An entire weekend day to my self at least 8 Sundays a year (counting for night games...)------ Tess

Date: 9/2/12 2:32 PM Sports widow here! Baseball, golf, pro and college football along with basketball still in season (and I got him into watching Nascar! LOL)! My DH is in heaven! I am too and just finished a project--a UFO after seeing that video that was mentioned in another thread! Have you seen it? |

Date: 9/2/12 3:33 PM I'm jealous. Mine isn't into sports, he's retired (age 54) and going to college, mostly online...at home. I'm trapped!
He does WORK at the games to help his singing group once in a great while (which ends tonight), but not enough time for me to start anything. -- Edited on 9/2/12 3:34 PM -- |

Date: 9/2/12 4:21 PM Mine gave up his season tickets after getting really disgusted with his college team.
He's home but happily watching the games, fixing his favorite football food, and asking how my sewing is going. :D ------ Mary
