I love spending time with DH but I also love all the extra sewing I get to do while he's engrossed in the games.

I love the game...but can listen from afar except for a few teams.....then the game has my full attention. What I was doing today, listening & sewing a unfinished project I discovered when I was organizing the sewing area. Yes, yeah for fall!

Slip in a little spending, and you have a full season of fun for yourself. Our machines have to have toys, you know.

I am a Quilter at heart. I love to play with fabrics, patterns and colors. Recently I have discovered I enjoy doing applique. I love making pictures. Using a sewing machine is much easier than counted cross stitch or oil painting for me. I enjoy landscape quilting as well. I am working on my first applique project in the spring of 2014.

I live in Wisconsin. The Packer season has started. Enough said. I will see you all again after the Superbowl, especially if the Packers are in it again.

Mine has season tickets for the Texans. I happily put the game on TV while he is gone. He and his buds like to tailgate.

All Day.

Seriously, they leave by 8:30 in the morning and don't get home til after 5 for a noon game. Woohoo! An entire weekend day to my self at least 8 Sundays a year (counting for night games...)

Hockey Night in Canada starts Oct 11th. That takes care of Saturdays from about 4pm onwards. It's my prime sewing time.

Sports widow here! Baseball, golf, pro and college football along with basketball still in season (and I got him into watching Nascar! LOL)! My DH is in heaven! I am too and just finished a project--a UFO after seeing that video that was mentioned in another thread! Have you seen it?

I'm jealous. Mine isn't into sports, he's retired (age 54) and going to college, mostly online...at home. I'm trapped!

He does WORK at the games to help his singing group once in a great while (which ends tonight), but not enough time for me to start anything.

Mine gave up his season tickets after getting really disgusted with his college team.

He's home but happily watching the games, fixing his favorite football food, and asking how my sewing is going. :D

Sweetsong, you need to find a sewing partner and go to their house and sew!
