Colonial dress

Using the properly coloured fabrics, and extending the vest into a fuller apron - would I be able to pull this off as "Anne of Green Gables" ?

Did you see these images?
Anne of Green Gables..

I'm trying to remember the description from the books, but I think the pinafore over the dress is fairly accurate...unless you want to do her as an older person, not a child.

Looks like I need more of a collar at the neck than a ruffle then. Longer sleeves.

Thankfully, both of which *should* be easily do-able.
