Date: 9/2/12 7:37 PM My husband is finishing our basement. He is going to build a half oval shape banquette to hide some of the plumbing from the bathroom. I plan on having the seat and back cushion out of a solid upholstery fabric and the a contrasting bolster above the back cushion. Does anyone know what the seat height and seat depth is supposed to be. Any ideas on how to attach the bolster to the back cushion. Does anyone know of any web sites out there too that might give me some ideas? |

Date: 9/2/12 8:09 PM I did a quick search on banquette dimensions and came up with tons of links.
DIY network suggests measuring the height and depth of a favorite dining chair. If you're adding a back cushion you'd need to make it a bit deeper to account for that.

Date: 9/11/12 11:50 PM For the base height, be sure to take in to consideration how thick you want the cushion to be and the height of the table you will use. You don't want to be squeezing your legs under the table!
To attach the bolsters to the seat cushions you can add straps with velcro in the seam of the bolster and have them attach to the back of the cushion. |
