A friend gave me some BanRol - like petersham - to try for putting in waistbands. The destructions go on about where to place the fusible side and which way it curves.
A - can't tell which side is fusible but can see it through the weave from both sides.
B - it doesn't have a noticeable curve to it as is, and bending it slightly by hand has an equal effect on both sides as far as I can tell!

Should I just put it in an get on with it, disregarding the destructions?I hoped it would be a stand in for my normal petersham...so didn't buy more.

If one side has more shine than the other, it is usually the side with the adhesive.

You could test a small piece to see which side is the fusible side. The heat of the iron may also provide the curve.

yes, you can't tell which side, although you can see bits of adhesive in the weave from both sides.

also tried little pieces but no noticeable sticking!
I may just go for it and then adjust procedure for the next one.
