Date: 9/5/12 1:52 PM Hi,
My questions are what areas of fit are impacted by adding sleeves to a garment and when should the sleeves be added in fitting a muslin?
I am in the process of fitting a blouse with shoulder princess seams. I have had to make lots of adjustments, including lowering the shoulder slope, lowering the apex, altering for rounded back, replacing the front side panel with one that was a combination of two sizes, and on and on. I think I am getting close to a decent fit. My one remaining problem area is only on one side of my back where I have a large bump under my bra line, about half the depth of a jelly donut. That particular lump is caused by posture problem, so I am stuck with it.
So before I fuss with that problem, is it time to try the sleeves? Thanks for the help, |
