6 members like this. Date: 9/6/12 11:20 PM So the Spring 2013 Colors are out and I do believe I can successfully wear several:

In fact, bought an emerald sweater this morning (for my mother). And a pastel purple polo shirt. And blue shorts. I'm on a roll!!! ------ Fashion Maté, where I blog about what I (eventually) sew : http://fashionmate.blogspot.com

Won't it be fun to see how 20-25 women work this color into a garment? |

Date: 9/7/12 12:05 PM I love the colors, and the red on you is wonderful!! I didn't start wearing red until my late 30's--now I love it and wear it quite often. I feel so feisty in red. Emerald green is not my best color, but I could pull off the purple and yellow shades. ------ 2012 yardage sewn: 102.75 yds

Date: 9/7/12 1:32 PM The pale lavender and linen colors really make me look blah, but the rest look pretty good. ------ Marilyn

Date: 9/7/12 4:53 PM I think the names are throwing me off (or my monitor is wrong). The "emerald" looks like teal to me, and "linen" appears to be pink?
I just became a brunette again after 10 years as a redhead, and it's been a lot of fun experimenting with dramatic new colors. I'll wait to see how these trends play out in spring RTW. (I'm not even ready for fall clothes yet! LOL) ------ ~Gem in the prairie |

Date: 9/9/12 9:06 AM I see the same - emerald is teal and linen is pink. I wish there were a way for all monitors to show colors true - especially when you are stuck having to buy most fabric online! |
