Date: 9/7/12 10:17 PM I need to take a pattern & adjust it for a pregnant bridesmaid. She will be about 8 1/2 months at wedding. I am using Simplicity 2398, view C. I have until March 16. |

Date: 9/8/12 5:54 PM I would simply add to the center front of the skirt. Since its gathered, this would be pretty easy to do. You'll have to adjust the length in front too. Since you won't know how her belly and boobs will grow until later, maybe you can leave some of the work until closer to the date? ------ Melanie |

If possible, I would even elasticate part of the bodice if possible, it will be more comfortable for her. |

Date: 9/9/12 1:25 AM Keep in mind that at 8.5 months she may go into labour at any time or have had the baby. I have not looked at the patterns, but a 2 piece outfit that could allow for nursing if the baby comes early may be a good idea.
Also make sure she can wear very comfortable shoes, her feet maybe very swollen and much larger than normal. ------ Proud parent of a Dwight International School Honour Roll Student |
