HOWEVER, I think this looks really good and attractive:

Posed like RTW and with the number on the side so you can recognize and find the pattern.
Very fashion spread-ish, don't you think?
I think I'm going to write to them to congratulate them on this initiative. We need more of this type of brand presentation. ------ Fashion Maté, where I blog about what I (eventually) sew : http://fashionmate.blogspot.com

Date: 9/10/12 9:02 AM I agree with you. Better than the off the wall poses! If I worked at Butterick I would really work the patterns by Gertie, they are awesome! ------ Relax, don't get your elastic all twisted up in your waistband!

Yes but there is a problem all the patterns have the same number and it looks like none of the garments are of that pattern. ------ http://farhanasews.blogspot.com/ my general sewing blog

That is pretty funny though. It reminds me of when I was working at a newspaper and someone forgot to replace the dummy text in the blurb at the top of a front page story. The whole town opened the paper that day to see "blurby here please please pleasy please". Ooops. ------ Humor, DIY escapades, pop culture, kitsch and creative miscellany from a bipolar bureaucrat with a sewing machine, a bottle of prozac, and an occasionally loose grip on reality -- http://sewciopathic.com ... plus, stuff for sale(!) at sewciopathic.etsy.com. |

I cannot forget the day the biggest newspaper added an extraneous accent to the then-president's name in the headline, read out loud it was too funny!
(They lost one of their older correctors a couple of months ago, though. Poor guy was done in by the crazy spelling and questionable grammar, no doubt)------ Fashion Maté, where I blog about what I (eventually) sew : http://fashionmate.blogspot.com
