The Butterick $4.99 Sale ad Clearly improving their marketing strategy

Date: 9/10/12 8:55 AM This is not to recommend the sale (I think $4.99 is a deal if you can get a Desperately NeededWanted Pattern) HOWEVER, I think this looks really good and attractive: Posed like RTW and with the number on the side so you can recognize and find the pattern. Very fashion spread-ish, don't you think? I think I'm going to write to them to congratulate them on this initiative. That is pretty funny though. It reminds me of when I was working at a newspaper and someone forgot to replace the dummy text in the blurb at the top of a front page story. The whole town opened the paper that day to see "blurby here please please pleasy please". I cannot forget the day the biggest newspaper added an extraneous accent to the then-president's name in the headline, read out loud it was too funny! (They lost one of their older correctors a couple of months ago, though.
